Gezim Tula, better known amongst our guests as Jim, joined the Spuntino family in 2019 as General Manager and has never looked back. Responsible for hiring the team you see on the floor at every meal, Jim, a graduate of the College of Insurance – NYC, sets the tone for the front of house, creating the perfect atmosphere for our chefs’ beautiful food. A lover of good food, good wine, and good people, Jim is credited with creating our Wine Keeper Program, a preservation system for wine bars, which allows us to serve high end wine by the glass. Jim has also worked with Regan DeBenedetto, Sommelier and Wine Director, to build wine lists, helping to create one that won Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence and have Spuntino voted Best Wine List in Northern NJ among NJ Monthly readers. When Jim’s not at Spuntino, you can catch him with a camera in hand, playing sports, and out and about with his kids.
